Bee visits flower
How easy it is to get caught up in problems and daily events. I forget about the earth and natural world. Today I take a few moments to watch a sunset, observe a bird, notice the fluttering of leaves or a bee visiting a flower.
Breath of life
Today I take fifteen minutes and sit quietly, watching my breath. In and out, minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day. Breath brings life. Today I link my thoughts to my source of life by attending to my breath.

Meditate for Health, Love, Wealth
(sample excerpts)

Find Light in Dark Times gives you philosophical and spiritual tools to help you recover from
losses of all kinds, then emerge into the light. These are sample sections from Chapter 7 on meditation to create
health, love and wealth.
Three principles of meditation guide a rich, vibrant life: First, generate and maintain health. Second, attract love. Third, draw wealth through benign action.
These principles, while simple, can prove challenging to follow in life. They work best if followed in the order given: health, love, wealth.
The principles interact with each other: If you want to find love, first promote your body to optimum health. While it is possible to receive and give love even when ill, your energy to love will diminish. Love is more fun and rewarding when you feel strong. The physical aspects of romantic love—sex and touching—feel most vibrant when you have a healthy body.
If you want to gain wealth and benefit others, first find love. Enterprise supported by love has greater likelihood of success. It also has greater chance of truly benefiting others. The money has purpose beyond accumulation. Money flows toward you because your heart attracts it.
These principles guide life and meditation. If you meditate already, you know that sitting can help organize your interior. Use these three structures for meditation: health, love, wealth. How you contemplate them is your personal choice. Some days you may need to meditate purely for health. Other days you may want to summon love or direct the flow of wealth. Customize your spiritual interior to maximize the chance that light will flood into your realm. Actively pull light into you.
. . . (Wealth section)
Wealth can show up in your life as money, influence over others, position, opportunity and property. Often it will combine these forms of wealth. As wealth comes in, own it with gratitude. Gratitude works magic in the domain of wealth. If you use wealth to control others, to wow them, to put them down or make them feel inferior, then love goes out of it. Then your wealth will diminish because you lost its foundation of love.
Never profit by hurting others or taking advantage of them. The wealth you accumulate through such means carries a smelly taint that will not leave, like skunk scent. Instead profit by helping others or providing benefits. This benign form of wealth carries a fresh, lovely fragrance. It has the greatest chance of growing further.
